If its as simple as a shovel and a 5-year-old can fix it, then submit a
patch to do this instead of sounding like a 5-year-old that keeps
complaining that you can't get a cookie. Honey *always* works better
than vinegar.

Refuse? The patch only showed up yesterday. What do you expect, your
patches to be accepted, tested and then integrated into CVS *before* you
write them? Its not like people with CVS write access are sitting
around waiting all day for pearls of wisdom to drop out of your brain.
